The Steel Travel Wheelchair can be folded to make storage and transportation easier. Weighing only 12kg it is lightweight which also makes it easy to load into your car and take with you where ever you may be going.

This wheelchair features 8″ solid wheels on the front and back which not only provide support but will not get punctured! The Steel Travel Wheelchair features wheel-locking brakes at the rear so that you can keep the wheelchair in place when transferring in and out of it. The Steel Travel Wheelchair comes with padded armrests and a nylon seat so that you remain comfortable when out and about.

The Steel Travel Wheelchair has a weight limit of 18st which will accommodate most individuals.

How does VAT exemption work?

VAT exemption on products depends on two things. Firstly, you must have a long-term health condition. This excludes broken bones but does include things like heart disease, arthritis, stroke, MS, CP, COPD etc. Secondly, the product itself must be eligible for VAT exemption. For example, some decorative walking sticks are not eligible for VAT exemption whereas a mobility scooter will be. If both you and the product are eligible for VAT exemption then you do not pay VAT on that product.
