Quickie Q300M Mini Powered Wheelchair – One of the UKs most popular mid wheel drive powered wheelchairs

The Quickie Q300M Mini has remained so popular because its compact size allow for indoor and outdoor use, and the powerful motor and batteries help the Q300M Mini perform outdoors. The Q300M Mini also now includes the Sedeo Pro seating system – it just keeps getting better! The Sedeo Pro system gives you a wide range of customisation and positioning options because of its adjustable and configurable frame. The numerous ways the system can be adjusted allows us to tailor the system to suit you.

Compactness when indoors

The Q300M Mini features a super slim 520mm base which allows the powered wheelchair to take you places others can’t. Not only is the Q300M Mini narrow, it also has true mid-wheel drive technology which allows the turning circle of the powered wheelchair to be as tight as possible at 1120mm. Its compact front to back too – the length of the Q300M Mini (with centre mounted footplate) is 1060mm which means it will easily fit into most lifts and tight spaces with ease. If you currently transfer in and out of your powered or manual wheelchair the Q300M Mini’s compact size helps make transferring much easier. The Q300M Mini is available with a range of swing away armrests, leg rests and controllers which helps to make transferring easier but also allows you to get closer to objects like tables.

Performance when outdoors

The Q300M Mini is compact enough to navigate busy cities, and performs when out and about. This powered wheelchair comes with all-wheel independent suspension which keeps all 6 wheels grounded when traversing obstacles. Any shock or bumps are absorbed by the wheels individual suspension, giving you a smooth and comfortable ride. Kerbs can be a frustration, especially when there’s no drop-kerb around. The Q300M Mini’s 12″ drive wheels can handle kerbs of up to 50mm so you don’t have to take the long way round. If you opt for the 14″ drive wheels you can tackle kerbs up to 70mm. When you are out and about you want to be able to have the range to go as far as possible. The Q300M Mini’s optional 55Ah batteries will give you up to 36km range.

How does VAT exemption work?

VAT exemption on products depends on two things. Firstly, you must have a long-term health condition. This excludes broken bones but does include things like heart disease, arthritis, stroke, MS, CP, COPD etc. Secondly, the product itself must be eligible for VAT exemption. For example, some decorative walking sticks are not eligible for VAT exemption whereas a mobility scooter will be. If both you and the product are eligible for VAT exemption then you do not pay VAT on that product.

Not VAT Exempt

This product wasn't designed solely for use by disabled people or those with a long-term illness, so we have to charge VAT on it for every customer.
