The Photon Folding Powerchair is one of our lightweight carbon fibre folding powerchairs. Weighing as little as 17kg it can be folded and put into your car for easy transportation and storage. The Photon is also our only powerchair that is available with a remote control attendant control – which enables you to control the powerchair on behalf of the user.

Front and rear suspension come as standard on the Photon Folding Powerchair! Its very important that you are comfortable when using a powerchair and the Photon helps to achieve this with the two springs at the front and the two springs at the back. Not only this, the Photon comes with a padded seat and back cushion too!

Easy to use joystick
The Photon comes with an easy to use joystick controller AND a remote control for attendant use. This is the only folding powerchair we stock that has the remote control capability - and it is very cool. You don't need to be stood right behind the powerchair, you can walk along side the user whilst you control the powerchair!

Photon Folding Powerchair – Comes with an attendant controlled remote for attendant use

The Photon Folding Powerchair is one of our lightweight carbon fibre powerchairs. Weighing as little as 17kg, the Photon Powerchair is ideal for transportation use! The strong frame is constructed from carbon fibre which makes the powerchair strong but lightweight.

The Photon comes as standard with front and rear suspension which will make riding the powerchair comfortable. Not on that, the Photon comes with a padded seat cushion and backrest which help to take the edge of the humps and bumps you may traverse when out and about.

The Photon comes as standard with a lithium battery which will give you up to 12 miles range but remain lightweight to carry. It is an off-board charging battery which means you do not need to charge the powerchair directly (although you can if you wish), you can charge the battery independently, which gives you flexibility. Never charge a lithium battery unattended and strictly follow the guidelines in the manual.

How does VAT exemption work?

VAT exemption on products depends on two things. Firstly, you must have a long-term health condition. This excludes broken bones but does include things like heart disease, arthritis, stroke, MS, CP, COPD etc. Secondly, the product itself must be eligible for VAT exemption. For example, some decorative walking sticks are not eligible for VAT exemption whereas a mobility scooter will be. If both you and the product are eligible for VAT exemption then you do not pay VAT on that product.

Standard Packaged Delivery

Free on orders over £50

For standard packaged delivery your item will arrive boxed or packaged and unassembled.

 

Assembled Delivery

Your item will arrive assembled and ready to use. We will also give you a thorough handover and demonstration.

£30 – Small Item (Optional)

Some of our smaller products have the option to add on assembled delivery.

£50 – Large Item (Mandatory)

We only sell our large items with assembled delivery as a set option. We do not want you to purchase this product without the set up and support assembled delivery offers.

 

Most of our products are fulfilled by third party partners. This means you may not receive all products in your order at the same time. We aim to have your product(s) delivered within 7 days of receipt of your order.

In-store Availability

We hold a wide range of products across our showrooms – it’s what makes us unique.

However, we allow customers to purchase and take away certain products with them on the day. As such we cannot always guarantee we have the item in stock you are looking for.

The easiest way to confirm stock levels is to contact your local showroom. They will be able to tell for certain if they have the product you are interested in.

For our Mobility Scooters, Riser Recliners, Powerchairs, Adjustable Beds, Wheelchairs and some Walking Aids we will even conduct a free of charge home demonstration, provided you live within roughly 15 miles of a showroom. Ask a colleague for more information.
