Marlin Key Features

Front and rear suspension
The Marlin combines everything you love about a travel mobility scooter and a pavement mobility scooter. The active front and rear suspension provides support and means you will stay comfortable when using the Marlin. It has two suspension springs at the front of the mobility scooter and two at the back offer all-round comfort.
Pneumatic or solid tyres
Depending on what environment you will be using your mobility scooter on depends on what type of tyres it has. With the Marlin, you have a choice of either solid tyres or pneumatic tyres. Solid tyres prevent you from getting punctures, whereas pneumatic tyres are more forgiving and offer a more cushioned ride.
Lightweight aluminium frame
The Marlin is a portable mobility scooter which means it can be broken down and loaded into a car to take with you on your travels. Its lightweight aluminiun frame and lithium battery help it do this. The mobility scooter breaks down into 5 easy-to-manage parts so that your mobility scooter can be with you at all times.
Comfy padded seat
Comfort is an important factor for everyone. Your new mobility scooter must be comfortable so that you enjoy using it. The Marlin mobility scooter comes as standard with a padded seat and padded backrest which offers all users support and cushioning when using the mobility scooter on rougher terrain.

Marlin – A light mobility scooter that comes with amazing features

The Marlin is an extremely lightweight, comfortable, strong and stable mobility scooter and can be disassembled into parts in a matter of seconds for easy lifting and transportation. The entire chassis is manufactured from ultra-lightweight aircraft grade aluminium for optimum durability and long-lasting use, with the heaviest part weighing less than 12kg. You may have sat on other similar sized scooters and felt cramped? You won’t with the Marlin, thanks to it’s patented’ shallow floor plate design that helps provide exceptional legroom, even for the taller user.

The Marlin light mobility scooter is made from aluminium and has a 21Ah lithium battery. This means that not only is the Marlin lightweight, but it will still get you to your destination – the Marlin has around 10 miles range in the standard 21Ah battery, but you can upgrade it to 34Ah for additional range.

The Marlin is available with either solid or pneumatic tyres depending on what you intend to use the mobility scooter for. If its smooth terrain then go with the solids as you won’t need to worry about additional comfort. If you are going off-roading or rougher terrain then the pneumatics may be a sensible choice as they offer more cushioning on bumpier terrain.

How does VAT exemption work?

VAT exemption on products depends on two things. Firstly, you must have a long-term health condition. This excludes broken bones but does include things like heart disease, arthritis, stroke, MS, CP, COPD etc. Secondly, the product itself must be eligible for VAT exemption. For example, some decorative walking sticks are not eligible for VAT exemption whereas a mobility scooter will be. If both you and the product are eligible for VAT exemption then you do not pay VAT on that product.

Not VAT Exempt

This product wasn't designed solely for use by disabled people or those with a long-term illness, so we have to charge VAT on it for every customer.
