Luxury Bath Mats or Shower Mats

The Luxury Anti-slip Mats for the bath and shower are soft, comfortable, free draining, and now manufactured in the unique PER material combined with an anti-microbial ‘Silver’ additive which actively inhibits mould and bacterial growth. With added strong grip suckers in a new configuration, they have successfully completed slip resistance testing by Independent Laboratories to Level 1 of the BS Standard BS8445:2012. Easy to clean machine washable at 40°C and allow to dry naturally. It even has an integrated hanging loop.

They come in three variants. One designed for a shower, one for a bath and one for corner/quadrant showers.

Anti-Slip Corner / Quadrant Shower Mat – 59.7 x 59.7cm

The mats are not considered suitable for baths or showers with an uneven non slip surface, or where the surface has raised contours, as the suckers may not be able to fully adhere to the surface and that could cause the mat to slip and cause injury.

How does VAT exemption work?

VAT exemption on products depends on two things. Firstly, you must have a long-term health condition. This excludes broken bones but does include things like heart disease, arthritis, stroke, MS, CP, COPD etc. Secondly, the product itself must be eligible for VAT exemption. For example, some decorative walking sticks are not eligible for VAT exemption whereas a mobility scooter will be. If both you and the product are eligible for VAT exemption then you do not pay VAT on that product.
