This wheelchair is designed for the user to be pushed by an attendant and as such it features an easy-to-use brake on the handles for the attendant to use and maintain control of the wheelchair. It can be locked in place to prevent the wheelchair from moving or used on the go to slow the wheelchair.

Ergo Lite 2 Transit Wheelchair – Our lightest wheelchair weighing as little as 9.2kg

The Ergo Lite 2 is our lightest portable wheelchair. Made from lightweight aluminium, you can take it almost anywhere with you! It folds to be able to be transported in your car, so that you can take it where ever you may wish to go. The wheelchair folds inwards and measures only 28cm in width and will be able to fit into almost all car boots. The footrests are also removeable so that you can save additional space in your car.

The Ergo Lite 2 Transit is designed to be used with an attendant pushing the user who is sat in the wheelchair. Because of this, the Ergo Lite 2 Transit comes as standard with attendant handles that feature slow down brakes and parking brakes. This means that the attendant is in complete control, rather than the individual sat in the wheelchair.

The comfortable contoured seat provides hours of comfort whilst out and about. The contoured ergonomic seat provides users with comfort and support – which means you can enjoy days out and about.

How does VAT exemption work?

VAT exemption on products depends on two things. Firstly, you must have a long-term health condition. This excludes broken bones but does include things like heart disease, arthritis, stroke, MS, CP, COPD etc. Secondly, the product itself must be eligible for VAT exemption. For example, some decorative walking sticks are not eligible for VAT exemption whereas a mobility scooter will be. If both you and the product are eligible for VAT exemption then you do not pay VAT on that product.

A member of our team will deliver this product to you, install it if necessary, and give you a thorough demonstration.

We deliver most of our larger products such as Mobility Scooters and Riser Recliners ourselves and do not use couriers. This helps make sure you receive a great standard of service.

Some of our other products are fulfilled by third party partners. This means you may not receive all products in your order at the same time. We aim to have your product(s) delivered within 7 days of receipt of your order.
