These comfortable waterproof cast protectors simply slip over the patient’s dressing or cast to protect them whilst taking a bath or shower. Designed to be used by individual patients, the cast protectors are re-usable, and guaranteed for three months. Not suitable for use with open or undressed wounds or when swimming.

Cast Protectors – Prevents water damage to casts and bandages

These Cast Protectors are easy and comfortable to use. There is a large rubber seal which prevents water seeping into the product between the skin and rubber. They simply slip over the user’s cast or dressing to protect them when taking a bath or shower. Designed to be used by individual users, the cast protectors are re-usable.

There are a number of variations for arms, legs and feet available.

Not suitable for use with open or undressed wounds or when swimming.

How does VAT exemption work?

VAT exemption on products depends on two things. Firstly, you must have a long-term health condition. This excludes broken bones but does include things like heart disease, arthritis, stroke, MS, CP, COPD etc. Secondly, the product itself must be eligible for VAT exemption. For example, some decorative walking sticks are not eligible for VAT exemption whereas a mobility scooter will be. If both you and the product are eligible for VAT exemption then you do not pay VAT on that product.

We deliver most of our larger products such as Mobility Scooters and Riser Recliners ourselves and do not use couriers. This helps make sure you receive a great standard of service.

Some of our other products are fulfilled by third party partners. This means you may not receive all products in your order at the same time. We aim to have your product(s) delivered within 7 days of receipt of your order.
