By increasing the height of the toilet seat, those who struggle to stand can use the toilet with ease. By raisin the height you have less distance to lower yourself down and push your self up. This is a cost effective solution which avoids having to install a new toilet entirely.

The Atlantis Raised Toilet Seats are lightweight and easy to install. All the parts can all be cleaned with warm water and a neutral cleanser or totally immersed in water. They can also be autoclaved. They have a total width of 36.5cm and total length of 40.5cm.

They are made from durable plastic and are available in 3 sizes, with or without a lid.

How does VAT exemption work?

VAT exemption on products depends on two things. Firstly, you must have a long-term health condition. This excludes broken bones but does include things like heart disease, arthritis, stroke, MS, CP, COPD etc. Secondly, the product itself must be eligible for VAT exemption. For example, some decorative walking sticks are not eligible for VAT exemption whereas a mobility scooter will be. If both you and the product are eligible for VAT exemption then you do not pay VAT on that product.
