Breaks into 5 easy to manage pieces
The Apex Rapid Mobility Scooter is designed for transportation and portability. It can simply be broken down into 5 easy-to-manage parts which individually can be loaded into the boot of your car. This means that rather than lifting the entire scooter, you only need to lift the individual sections.
All-round suspension
Comfort comes as standard with the Apex Rapid as it has front and rear suspension as standard. The shock absorbing active suspension springs will keep you secure and comfortable as you navigate rougher terrain when out and about.
Blue and red colour panels as standard
The Apex Rapid comes as standard with blue and red colour panels so that you can switch them out depending on what kind of mood you're in. Or, mix and match for the ultimate stylish mobility scooter!
Off-board charging
When it comes to charging the Apex Rapid you can leave the bulk of the scooter in the car and take only the battery indoors to charge. This is called off-board charging, where you charge the battery box itself rather than bringing the entire scooter indoors to charge.

Apex Rapid Mobility Scooter – All-round reliable and comfortable mobility scooter

The Apex Rapid Mobility Scooter is one of our customer favourites and here’s why. The Apex Rapid is a travel mobility scooter which means it can be broken down into 5 easy-to-manage pieces in order to load into your car. It makes the perfect travel companion and is ideal for taking away with you on holiday or on days out.

Because of the Apex Rapids strong and sturdy steel frame, it does make the ideal mobility scooter for everyday use, even if you aren’t planning on using it the car. The great suspension on the Apex Rapid also helps with this.

The Apex Rapid comes as standard with front and rear active suspension on each corner of the mobility scooter offering great levels of comfort when using it on rougher terrain. The suspension not only offers you comfort, it also offers support on rougher terrain too.

The mobility scooter is available in two battery sizes, the 12Ah and the 17Ah – the 17Ah is more popular as it gives you a greater range of around 8.6 miles.

How does VAT exemption work?

VAT exemption on products depends on two things. Firstly, you must have a long-term health condition. This excludes broken bones but does include things like heart disease, arthritis, stroke, MS, CP, COPD etc. Secondly, the product itself must be eligible for VAT exemption. For example, some decorative walking sticks are not eligible for VAT exemption whereas a mobility scooter will be. If both you and the product are eligible for VAT exemption then you do not pay VAT on that product.
