The Ambassador Riser Recliner is a dual motor tilt-in-space riser recliner which means that it reclines whilst keeping your body in a fixed position. This feature is uniquely ideal for those who want better pressure relief, improved circulation and general comfort, than a standard riser recliner can offer. The tilt-in-space mechanism also enables those with serious back, spine, hip and head conditions to recline in comfort. The Ambassador features a waterfall cushion system which helps to provide comfort across your back. The soft and springy seat box means the Ambassador offers great levels of comfort to all users.

How does VAT exemption work?

VAT exemption on products depends on two things. Firstly, you must have a long-term health condition. This excludes broken bones but does include things like heart disease, arthritis, stroke, MS, CP, COPD etc. Secondly, the product itself must be eligible for VAT exemption. For example, some decorative walking sticks are not eligible for VAT exemption whereas a mobility scooter will be. If both you and the product are eligible for VAT exemption then you do not pay VAT on that product.

A member of our team will deliver this product to you, install it if necessary, and give you a thorough demonstration.

We deliver most of our larger products such as Mobility Scooters and Riser Recliners ourselves and do not use couriers. This helps make sure you receive a great standard of service.

Some of our other products are fulfilled by third party partners. This means you may not receive all products in your order at the same time. We aim to have your product(s) delivered within 7 days of receipt of your order.

In-store Availability

We hold a wide range of products across our showrooms – it’s what makes us unique.

However, we allow customers to purchase and take away certain products with them on the day. As such we cannot always guarantee we have the item in stock you are looking for.

The easiest way to confirm stock levels is to contact your local showroom. They will be able to tell for certain if they have the product you are interested in.

For our Mobility Scooters, Riser Recliners, Powerchairs, Adjustable Beds, Wheelchairs and some Walking Aids we will even conduct a free of charge home demonstration, provided you live within roughly 15 miles of a showroom. Ask a colleague for more information.
