Road Legal Mobility Scooters

Road Legal Mobility Scooters

Road Legal Mobility Scooters must be registered with the DVSA (we can do this for you) and so can be used on the road. They are more substantial mobility scooters offering increased comfort and range. Mirrors, lights and indicators come as standard with 6-8mph Mobility Scooters. They are ideal for those who do not use a car but still want to enjoy the independence of being able to visit the shops or friends in the local area. Different types of Road Legal Mobility Scooters

6-8mph Mobility Scooters

Road Legal Mobility Scooters are often known as 6-8mph mobility scooters as this is the speed they must be able to travel at in order to be considered safe to be used on the road. We always recommend using the roads with extreme care.

Class 3 Mobility Scooters

Class 3 Mobility Scooters refers to the DVSA vehicle class which these products fall under in terms of their legal use on the road. Class 3 usually just means they are road worthy.

Off-road Mobility Scooters

A lot of our Road Legal Scooters are also capable of traversing rougher terrain and so they can be known as off-road mobility scooters.
