Aftercare – Servicing, Repairs & Warranties

Our aim is to supply products and services of quality through our dedicated & trained staff who are committed to building a relationship with you. Our team has over 20 years combined experience in the mobility industry, we are focused on delivering products and services that are designed to give you continued independence.

Whether we deliver our products, or you collect from our showrooms, our team will always conduct a handover and methodically show you the correct procedures for your new mobility product.

In some cases, to help you remain mobile we can offer loan equipment, especially if obtaining replacement parts is proving difficult. We stock an extensive range of spare parts including batteries, tyres, inner tubes, motors, and more. Servicing

Our commitment to you continues long after you have purchased your scooter or wheelchair. We strongly recommend an annual service to ensure your vehicle has as long a life as possible as in our opinion, maintaining your vehicle will give you peace of mind, keep you mobile and avoid unnecessary repairs. 

Our mobility engineers are there to keep your vehicle running smoother for longer, we can conduct the service at either a service centre or if requested carry out the service at your home.

Repairs

We understand that no matter how much prevention you put in place to keep things running, repairs do sometimes become necessary. 

This may be due to general wear and tear, damage, or a faulty part. In all cases, we are at hand to fix the problem. Just give us a call and we can make the necessary arrangements to deal with the issue.

Punctures

Punctures are sometimes a fact of life. If one happens to slow you down, then we have all the parts either in stock or available at short notice to sort the problem and get you mobile once again please do call us for help.

Batteries

Most of the common breakdown or repair issues we encounter are battery related. Whilst most clients look after their scooters well, incorrect battery charging is the usual issue we encounter.

We can test your battery to assess its ‘health’ and suggest the best route to deliver new life to your scooter, usually, this is through new batteries which we are able to supply.

Collection & Deliveries

If it is a struggle getting into the shop, we will be only too happy to visit you in the comfort of your own home. We understand that for a lot of people, their scooter or wheelchair is their only mode of transport and when a service or repair is needed then having this done at our premises can be difficult.

You do not need to worry, we offer a delivery and collection service so that we take all the worry away from you. We will collect your vehicle, service it, and deliver it back to you usually within 24 hours. The same is for repairs. The length of time of returning the vehicle can depend on the availability of parts, but you will be advised of this.

Mark Bates Ltd Insurance

There is no requirement to take a driving test or hold a driving licence to use a scooter, however, we strongly recommend that you insure not only your vehicle but also yourself with one of our great policies. By taking out an annual Mark Bates Ltd insurance policy that starts at around £96, you also get the peace of mind being covered brings. Whether you require liability insurance, breakdown cover, or extended warranty, we can offer a solution to cover all or some of these needs on both new and used scooters.

Warranties

Products supplied by Mobility Your Way carry a comprehensive parts and labour warranty. But, for extra peace of mind, after the initial warranty period has ended, we can offer the option of an Mark Bates Ltd extended warranty of up to five years if required.

If you live in the local area of our shops or showrooms and your product is still under warranty with us, then any delivery and collection fees won’t be charged.

Emergency Call Outs

Sometimes the unexpected happens and you just cannot get your vehicle to work. We understand that clients rely on their vehicles and need them fixed asap. We are happy to offer an emergency service during office hours. We aim, if possible, to fix the problem at your location, but if this is not possible then we can offer to take it away, repair it and return it to you if so wished.
