Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) apply to the Riser Recliner Service Plan (“Service Plan”) provided by Mobility Your Way Ltd. (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By purchasing a Service Plan, you (“Customer” or “you”) agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. Service Plan Options
We offer two Service Plan options for Riser Recliners:

• 3-Year Service Plan: £119 excluding VAT
  • This entitles the customer to a maximum of 3 annual services within 36 months of the purchase date, subject to the conditions outlined below
• 5-Year Service Plan: £199 excluding VAT
  • This entitles the customer to a maximum of 5 annual services within 60 months of the purchase date, subject to the conditions outlined below

The Service Plan covers one product service per year as outlined in the information below.

We reserve the right to change the Service Plan prices without notice. This will not affect Service Plans purchased before any changes.

2. Services Included in the Service Plan

• The Service Plan includes one service per year for the Riser Recliner product. This service may include basic checks, adjustments, and testing to ensure the recliner is functioning correctly.
• Maintenance, repairs, parts, call-out, and labour costs are not included in the Service Plan and will be chargeable separately. These costs will be assessed and communicated to the Customer at the time of the service if required.

3. Duration of the Service Plan

• The Service Plan is valid only for the duration of the Customer’s life, and not for the lifetime of the Riser Recliner product.
• The Service Plan terminates upon the event of the Customer passing away or upon any other condition that would end the Customer’s eligibility to use the Service Plan.

4. Eligibility

• The Service Plan may only be purchased within 14 days from the date of purchase or receipt of the Riser Recliner product.
• The Service Plan is non-transferable. It cannot be transferred to another person or another product.

5. Service Redemption Limitations

• Services under the Service Plan cannot be redeemed within 12 months of the previous service.
• Services must be redeemed at least 12 months after the completion of the prior service.
• Services can only be carried out at the Customer’s address provided it is within 30 miles of one of our showrooms.
  • Customer addresses outside 30 miles can bring the product to one of our showrooms or
  • Pay the appropriate mileage.

6. Non-Transferability

• The Service Plan is only valid for the specific Riser Recliner purchased and is non-transferable to any other product or individual.

7. Exclusions

• The Service Plan does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or unauthorized alterations to the Riser Recliner.
• Maintenance, repairs, parts, call-out, and labour costs are not included in the Service Plan and are chargeable separately.

8. Cancellation and Refunds

• The Service Plan may be cancelled within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, provided no services have been rendered.
• After the 14-day cooling-off period, no refunds will be offered.

9. Liability

• Our liability under this Service Plan is limited to the value of the services provided and excludes any indirect or consequential loss.
• This Service Plan does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer protection law.

10. Changes to Terms

• We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to the Customer, and the revised terms will apply to any future Service Plan purchases.

11. Governing Law

• This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
