Marlin Mobility Scooter Key Features

Front and rear suspension
The Marlin combines everything you love about a travel mobility scooter and a pavement mobility scooter. The active front and rear suspension provides support and means you will stay comfortable when using the Marlin. It has two suspension springs at the front of the mobility scooter and two at the back offer all-round comfort.

Pneumatic or solid tyres
Depending on what environment you will be using your mobility scooter on depends on what type of tyres it has. With the Marlin, you have a choice of either solid tyres or pneumatic tyres. Solid tyres prevent you from getting punctures, whereas pneumatic tyres are more forgiving and offer a more cushioned ride.

Lightweight aluminium frame
The Marlin is a portable mobility scooter which means it can be broken down and loaded into a car to take with you on your travels. Its lightweight aluminiun frame and lithium battery help it do this. The mobility scooter breaks down into 5 easy-to-manage parts so that your mobility scooter can be with you at all times.

Marlin Mobility Scooter – Our portable and lightweight pavement scooter

The Marlin Mobility Scooter packs a punch when it comes to range, comfort and performance, but still has all the benefits of a travel mobility scooter. The Marlin sits between a travel mobility scooter and a pavement mobility scooter giving you the best of both worlds. The Marlin features an aluminium frame and lithium batteries which make it a lightweight mobility scooter. Yet it features a wider body, larger tyres, a comfy seat and bigger batteries.

The Marlin is available in either solid or pnuematic tyres, you can choose between additional comfort and a softer ride with pnuematic tyres, or puncture proof solid tyres that won’t give you down time.

The Marlin is available in 2 battery sizes 21Ah and 34Ah which offer you up to 20 and 30 miles respectively.

How does VAT exemption work?

VAT exemption on products depends on two things. Firstly, you must have a long-term health condition. This excludes broken bones but does include things like heart disease, arthritis, stroke, MS, CP, COPD etc. Secondly, the product itself must be eligible for VAT exemption. For example, some decorative walking sticks are not eligible for VAT exemption whereas a mobility scooter will be. If both you and the product are eligible for VAT exemption then you do not pay VAT on that product.

Not VAT Exempt

This product wasn't designed solely for use by disabled people or those with a long-term illness, so we have to charge VAT on it for every customer.
