Harley Mattress Tilter – Helps with respiratory issues and oedema

The Harley Mattress Tilter is a really versatile yet simple cushion can be placed under an existing mattress to give a 5″ tilt. The cushion can be placed at the foot end of the bed to relieve symptoms of oedema, varicose veins, low back pain and general fatigue. Or it can be used at the top end of the bed to alleviate hiatus hernia and respiratory problems. It  comes with a washable polyester fleece/velour cover as standard. It measures 46x63x13>2cm (18x25x5>1″).

How does VAT exemption work?

VAT exemption on products depends on two things. Firstly, you must have a long-term health condition. This excludes broken bones but does include things like heart disease, arthritis, stroke, MS, CP, COPD etc. Secondly, the product itself must be eligible for VAT exemption. For example, some decorative walking sticks are not eligible for VAT exemption whereas a mobility scooter will be. If both you and the product are eligible for VAT exemption then you do not pay VAT on that product.
