You are able to adjust your head and footrest independently in order for you to find a sleeping of even sitting position that works for you. It is important to get the right position if you suffer from postural medical conditions.
42 multi-slatted base
The slatted base on this adjustable bed is adjustable too! Which means you can increase and decrease the flexibility of the slats to suit your comfort levels or preferences. The Devon comes with 42 wooden flexible slats which help to make it a comfortable Adjustable Bed to sleep on.

The bed is strong and features an upholstered divan base. The 8″ wooden legs not only look stylish, but allow you to store items underneath your adjustable bed. The 42 multi-slatted base offers flexibiilty and support, both aiming to provide you with a better nights sleep.

The Devon Adjustable Bed is ideal for people with medical conditions such as asthma, arthritis, rheumatism, MS, back pain, circulation problems and many other conditions that affect your mobility.

The Adjustable Bed has an easy-to-use 6 button handset to adjust the head and foot sections.

Headboard and mattresses are not included.

How does VAT exemption work?

VAT exemption on products depends on two things. Firstly, you must have a long-term health condition. This excludes broken bones but does include things like heart disease, arthritis, stroke, MS, CP, COPD etc. Secondly, the product itself must be eligible for VAT exemption. For example, some decorative walking sticks are not eligible for VAT exemption whereas a mobility scooter will be. If both you and the product are eligible for VAT exemption then you do not pay VAT on that product.

We will hand deliver this product directly to your door ready for you to use.​

A member of our team will deliver this product to you, install it if necessary, and give you a thorough demonstration.

We deliver most of our larger products such as Mobility Scooters and Riser Recliners ourselves and do not use couriers. This helps make sure you receive a great standard of service.

Some of our other products are fulfilled by third party partners. This means you may not receive all products in your order at the same time. We aim to have your product(s) delivered within 7 days of receipt of your order.

In-store Availability

We hold a wide range of products across our showrooms – it’s what makes us unique.

However, we allow customers to purchase and take away certain products with them on the day. As such we cannot always guarantee we have the item in stock you are looking for.

The easiest way to confirm stock levels is to contact your local showroom. They will be able to tell for certain if they have the product you are interested in.

For our Mobility Scooters, Riser Recliners, Powerchairs, Adjustable Beds, Wheelchairs and some Walking Aids we will even conduct a free of charge home demonstration, provided you live within roughly 15 miles of a showroom. Ask a colleague for more information.
