Standard Reacher Grabber – Helping you live more independently

The Standard Reacher Grabber is ideal for helping you pick up objects in high, low or out of reach places. It provides a helping hand and puts less strain on your body when you need to reach or grab for something. It comes as standard with a comfortable, ergonomic handle which makes it easier for those with arthritis to use too.

The pincer design claw makes it easier to pick up smaller items such as keys, socks or cutlery. The Standard Reacher Grabber can also pick up larger items such as TV remotes, books and more. The tip of the Reacher Grabber also has a magnet, which makes picking up magnetic objects even easier.

It is available in two sizes – long (82.5cm) and short (67.3cm).

How does VAT exemption work?

VAT exemption on products depends on two things. Firstly, you must have a long-term health condition. This excludes broken bones but does include things like heart disease, arthritis, stroke, MS, CP, COPD etc. Secondly, the product itself must be eligible for VAT exemption. For example, some decorative walking sticks are not eligible for VAT exemption whereas a mobility scooter will be. If both you and the product are eligible for VAT exemption then you do not pay VAT on that product.
