Deluxe Shampoo Basin – Wash your hair without the need to be in your bathroom

The Deluxe Shampoo Basin is designed to give people with limited mobility the ability to wash their hair from where ever they may be. If you or a relative is bed bound for example, this is ideal as it means a care giver can provide hygiene assistance to those who cannot do it themselves.

Properly position the head and shoulders for shampooing with the Deluxe Shampoo Basin. It has a double-tube design that prevents water from spilling. It also includes a 1190mm (47″) drain hose. The basin is made from durable vinyl. The Deluxe basin measures 710 x 610 x 150mm (28 x 24 x 6″).

How does VAT exemption work?

VAT exemption on products depends on two things. Firstly, you must have a long-term health condition. This excludes broken bones but does include things like heart disease, arthritis, stroke, MS, CP, COPD etc. Secondly, the product itself must be eligible for VAT exemption. For example, some decorative walking sticks are not eligible for VAT exemption whereas a mobility scooter will be. If both you and the product are eligible for VAT exemption then you do not pay VAT on that product.
